Federal Law Updates OSHA revises electrical installation rules to conform to newest NFPA 70E and NEC codes OSHA has revised Secs. 1910.302-308 to conform to recent editions of the National Fire Protection Association’s 70E consensus standard Electrical Safety Requirements for Employee Workplaces (2000 edition) and the 2002 edition of the National Electric Code. The final rule becomes effective August 13, 2007. The new standard retains grandfather provisions for older installations.
