2008 ERISA Advisory Council appointments announced

Secretary of Labor Elaine L. Chao has announced the appointment of new members and new leadership for the 2008 ERISA Advisory Council.

The new appointees are: David Evangelista of Stony Point, N.Y., representing the accounting industry; Sanford Koeppel of Iselin, N.J., representing the insurance industry; Mary Nell Billings of Memphis, Tenn., representing employers; Marc LeBlanc of Alexandria, Va., representing employee organizations; and Kevin Wiggins of Clarksburg, W.Va., representing the general public. The 2008 Advisory Council chair is William L. Scogland, a senior partner at the law firm of Jenner & Block in Chicago. Patricia Brambley, founder and president of Resources for Retirement in Newtown, Pa., will serve as the Council’s vice chair.
