DOL announces webcast on June 25 reviewing recent guidance

The U.S. Department of Labor's Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA) will host a free webcast June 25 to help employers and plan administrators understand recent regulatory and interpretative guidance under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA).

This is the third in a series of webcasts and will address issues relating to the qualified default investment alternative regulation, delinquent contributions, participant contribution safe harbor proposal and recent amicus briefs involving ERISA.

The series is being offered as part of EBSA's compliance assistance program - Getting It Right - Know Your Fiduciary Responsibilities - to help employers and plan administrators understand their fiduciary responsibilities in operating a retirement plan.
