The U.S. Master Pension Guide reflects the latest regulations, rulings and cases for qualified retirement plans, surveying the different type of plans from which an employer may choose, and describing the procedures for obtaining plan qualification.
From Spencer's Benefits Reports: A new survey from the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP) has found that 70% of respondents offered some type of retirement or financial planning initiative, education or program for employees or participants.
The survey, Retirement and Financial Planning Programs, examines the types and formats of retirement and financial planning programs that employers offer to their employees. It also addresses the topics covered by formal retirement planning programs, and the programs’ availability and eligibility requirements.
Pat Krajnak, director of reference/research services at the IFEBP, said that “while group meetings are the most popular delivery method for retirement or financial planning education, many organizations are also turning to Web-based tools.”
