The Hawaii Department of Taxation has eliminated the $2.50 fee that was charged for electronic filing and electronic payments related to various Hawaii taxes. Beginning Monday April 14, 2008, taxpayers can electronically file returns and forms and pay taxes at no cost on the state's e-file Web site at http://www.ehawaii.gov/efile/. As a result, Form HW-14, Withholding Period Return, among other forms, may be filed electronically at no cost. (News Release, Hawaii Department of Taxation, April 10, 2008.)
