Setting up and using the My CCH tab for research Favorites (Health & Human Resources)

Options on the My CCH tab allow you to create a customized workspace of frequently used publications with access to your most used publications, recent searches, customized daily news, and research folders.

Here's what's available on the My CCH tab:

Favorite Research Publications

In this section, you can create a My CCH library of frequently used research publications.

To add publications to your My CCH tab:

• At a library tab, click the CCH logo next to a desired publication.

To add an entire library section:

• At a library tab, click the CCH logo in the blue section head.

To remove a publication from your My CCH tab:

• Click the blue CCH logo next to the item you want to remove on the My CCH tab.

To remove all your favorite research publications:

• Click the CCH logo in the Research Publications section head on the My CCH tab.

Research Tools

Here, you have access to some important tools such as your Research Folders, your Favorite Searches, and recent searches. You can also run a quick link citation search from here and return to the last search results list and last document you viewed.

To run a Quick Link citation search:

• In the Quick Link box, enter a citation in the box and click Search.

To run recent searches:

• In the Run Recent Searches section, click the drop-down arrow and select a search from the box.

• Click OK to run your search automatically—using your original publication targets and settings. You have the option of saving the search to your list of Favorite Searches.

To clear your recent searches:

• Click Clear to remove all the searches on the list and then click OK.

To view a particular Research Folder:

• In the Research Folders box, click the drop-down arrow and select a Research Folder to view.

To run Favorite Searches:

• Click Favorite Searches. The Favorite Search template will appear.

• Click a search, and the system will run it automatically—using your original publication targets and settings.

To return to the Last Document Viewed or Last Search Results List Viewed:

During a session, you can easily return to the last document or last search results you viewed on the My CCH tab. In the Research Tools section, you will find, if available, links to Return to Last Document Viewed and/or Return to Last Search Results Viewed.

This section contains links to customer support, training materials, free Health and Human Resources newsletters, and product information resources. It also contains downloads for software that can be used on Internet Research NetWork.

Today's Tracker News

This section contains your daily Tracker News results, News Highlights, as well as links for other Tracker News options.

To view today's Tracker News results on a search results list:

• Click a Tracker News search in the listing. Your results will appear on a Search Results List and will include options for adding to your Research Folders, exporting to a file, and printing.

Using other Tracker News options

The Tracker News section of the My CCH tab also contains links to sign up for email delivery and set up News Tracker searches. These links are actually taking you to the the Preferences tabs where you can also view and modify current searches.
